BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – Warmer air sitting over our existing snowpack is resulting in areas of dense fog in many locales this morning so please use caution on the roads if you have travel plans especially early this morning.
Low pressure over the Eastern Great Lakes Region will head northward into Western Quebec today… pushing a cold front through Maine this afternoon. With the storm staying well to our west… we will stay on the warm side of the system resulting in precipitation falling as all rain statewide today. It will be a quick shot of rainfall today… some of which may be moderate to heavy at times. Rain will develop from west to east across the state this morning then taper to scattered showers from west to east across the state by mid-late afternoon as the cold front moves through.
