BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – We’ve got a soggy and cool Thursday on tap as low pressure works its way towards Maine from Western Quebec. Low pressure approaching from the north and west combined with moisture streaming northward out ahead of it will result in a steady rain across the state today… some of which could be heavy at times. The combination of the clouds and the rain will make for a cool day with highs only reaching the mid to upper 50s for most spots. The steadier rain will taper to scattered showers from west to east during the first half of the night tonight followed by mostly cloudy skies and the chance for some scattered showers and patchy fog for the remainder of the night. Lows will drop to the upper 40s to mid-50s. Rainfall totals by midnight will range from .5″ to 1.25″ with locally higher amounts possible …
