Rates are cooling economy, but higher immigration flows are an inflationary impulse: PIMCO economist

As investors digest economic news, Tiffany Wilding, managing director and economist at PIMCO, joins BNN Bloomberg for her take on North American economy. She says there could be divergence between Canada and U.S.’s central banks given the Canadian economy shows signs of stagnation, while U.S. remains resilient. She expect both central banks to start cutting rates by mid-year.
