RCMP continues search for Brampton trucker following deadly Manitoba crash [Video]

A Brampton trucker wanted in connection to a collision that killed a mother and daughter in Manitoba is still on the run.

Wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, Navjeet Singh, 25, hasn’t been seen since he was released from hospital following the deadly crash that occurred Nov. 15 at a highway intersection near Altona, about 100 km south of Winnipeg.

The RCMP said recently they are following up on tips that Singh was spotted back in the GTA.

Police are urging him to surrender to local authorities and answer the charges.

Police allege that Singh was the driver of a tractor-trailer that went through a stop sign and collided with an SUV.

A 35-year-old woman, the driver of the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 8-year-old daughter was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.
