The record deficit isn’t the only important number in this week’s P.E.I.’s provincial budget, our political panel tells Sheehan Desjardins of CBC News: Compass. Paul MacNeill is raising an eyebrow over what he considers a too-rosy revenue forecast and the Island’s rising debt-to-GDP ratio, and Sally Pitt calls it a “maintenance budget with a little dash of hope” but not a lot of emphasis on housing or climate issues.
