RECALL: Chocolate bar sold in Canada pulled from shelves [Video]

A chocolate bar sold in Canada has been recalled.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) said that Milka brand Bubbly Alpine Milk “Chocolat” is being pulled from shelves because it contains hazelnut which isn’t declared on the label.

The recall is a result of a consumer complaint, the CFIA said, with one reported reaction associated with the product.

It was distributed in B.C., Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Consumers were advised to not serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products.

“Do not consume recalled products to which you are allergic or sensitive as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction,” the CFIA said.

The recalled chocolate bar is 90 g in size with the UPC number 7 622210 371638 and the code 25.04.25, the CFIA said.
