A children’s clothing product that was sold in Canada has been recalled because officials say it poses a burn hazard.

Health Canada said the recall involves Lolanta hooded dinosaur children’s bathrobes.

“The fabric of the bathrobes does not meet requirements of the children’s sleepwear regulations, and pose a burn hazard to children,” the recall notice said.

Consumers were advised to “immediately stop using” the product.

The flannel bathrobes are 100 per cent polyester, are green in colour and have attached belts and patch pockets, the notice said.

They were sold in sizes of 2 to 3 years, three to five years, six to eight years, and eight to 10 years.

The notice said the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.

There were 1,024 sold in Canada and 5,100 in the United States from November 2021 to March of this year.

They were manufactured in China.
