Crackers sold in Ontario have been recalled.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said that the affected product contains peanut which isn’t declared on the label.

The recall was triggered by a consumer complaint, with one reported reaction associated with eating the crackers, the agency said.

The affected product is JHAÖQIA brand Taiwanese Style Rice Crackers (Egg Yolk Flavor), the CFIA said.

It’s 300 g in size, has the UPC number 6 971646 649752, and the recall applies to all codes where peanut is not declared on the label.

Consumers were advised to check if they have the product.

“Do not consume recalled products to which you are allergic or sensitive as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction,” the agency said.

“Do not serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.”
