RECALL: Meat products pulled from shelves in Canada [Video]

Certain meat products have been pulled from shelves in Canada.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said that Lil’ Juan’s brand and Lucia’s brand Mexican Style Pork Carnitas have been recalled due to pieces of wood.

The specific affected products are listed below.

“Do not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products,” the agency said.

They were distributed in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario, the notice said.

These are the products included in the recall:

Lil’ Juan’s Mexican Style Pork Carnitas

  • Size: 400g
  • UPC number: 7 73220 10406 2
  • Codes: BB 250624 and BB 250625

Lucia’s Mexican Style Pork Carnitas

  • Size: 1kg
  • UPC number: 7 73220 10408 6
  • Codes: BB 250424, BB 250425, BB 250702, BB 250706
