RECALL: Pieces of wood found in soup that was sold in Canada [Video]

Several types of soup have been recalled in Canada.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said that “various brands of soup and sauce (have been) recalled due to pieces of wood.”

The affected brands include Longo’s, Longo’s Signature, Co-op Gold and From Our Chefs.

The types of soup recalled are the following: Thai Chicken Soup, Chicken Thai Soup, Lime Crema, Coconut Chicken Thai Soup.

They were distributed in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick, the agency said.

“Do not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products,” the CFIA said.
