A dessert has been recalled in Canada after a consumer complaint, officials say.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said in a notice that the product is being pulled from the marketplace because it might contain peanut which isn’t on the label.

The affected product is the Eatlove brand organic almond butter cup.

It is 51 g in size, has the UPC number 6 27987 94865 3 and the code 25MA29 11211.

Consumers were advised to check to see if they have the dessert.

There has been one reported reaction, the CFIA said.

“Do not consume recalled products to which you are allergic or sensitive as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction,” the notice said.

“Do not serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.”
