A certain product from a popular store has been recalled in Canada due to a “strangulation hazard,” officials say.
Health Canada said in a recall notice that the Pufferz Puffer Yoyo type ball is the affected product.
Officials said that it is a light-up puffer ball that is three inches in diameter and can stretch to more than 500 mm.
It is age-graded as three-plus and is available in five colours: hit pink, magenta, green, yellow, blue and orange.
The notice indicated that they were sold at Michaels stores.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Pufferz Puffer Ball and return the product to a Michaels store for a refund,” Health Canada said.
Michaels reported that 389 were sold in Canada from February until April, the notice said.
As of April 18, the company hadn’t received any reports of strangulation in Canada or injuries, officials said.
