Recalls from Amazon, Costco and other stores this week in Ontario [Video]

It looks like the last week of 2024 brings more recalls.

Ontario residents are urged to check their homes for food and children’s items that pose mild to severe health risks including allergies, entrapment and choking.

FLAGAV Play Mat

FLAGAV has issued a recall for its 79 x 59-inch Play Mat for Baby featuring urban roads, hot air balloons, Ferris wheels, and truck graphic designs.

The affected products, identified by model number Mat3 and lot numbers CAFH-202402-01 and CAFH-202403-02, can be found on the bottom left of the accompanying document and the bottom right corner of the transparent carrying bag.

These play mats were sold exclusively on Amazon.ca under the Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN): B0BXCS15HT.

Frequent use of detergents containing alcohol and chemical ingredients can cause the coating to peel off in small parts.

The company reported that 1,295 units were sold in Canada between September and December 2024.

Risks: Poses choking hazards for young children.
