RECALLS: Heaters, griddles, rice, sausages and bread recalled from stores in Ontario [Video]

Ontario residents are urged to check their homes for recently recalled products that may pose serious health and safety risks, including fire hazards and potential allergens.

Here’s what’s being recalled this week:

GoveeLife and Govee Smart Electric Space Heaters

Various models of GoveeLife and Govee Smart Electric Space Heaters with model numbers H7130 (including H7130101), H7131, H7132, H7133, H7134, and H7135.

These heaters were sold in black and white and range in size from 9 to 26 inches in height. The model number can be found on the manufacturer’s label on the underside of each unit.

The products are at risk of overheating.

The company reported that 48,584 units were sold in Canada and 512,500 units in the U.S. between October 2021 and May 2024, primarily through amazon.ca.

Risks: Poses fire and burn hazards

What you should do: Immediately stop using the recalled products and register at https://recall.goveelife.com/heater-recall  for a refund.
