The annual Magic Valley Refugee Day, a time of food and culture, takes place Friday evening at Twin Falls City Park.
Refugees in brightly colored traditional clothing will dish up food from their native countries to serve to residents starting at 6 p.m. Cultural performances occur later at the bandshell.
The event, hosted by the United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants Twin Falls with community support, is free and open to the public.
Boise will hold a similar celebration on Saturday that will include a naturalization ceremony featuring former refugees who are becoming American citizens.
