Twenty-two-year-old Reshuan Norman Cote stood in the prisoner’s box as he made his very first court appearance for his involvement in a homicide last year.
Cote is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 22-year-old Everett Wolfe Roberts-Orr.
Roberts-Orr died after police responded to a weapons offence on the 4800 block of Sherwood Drive just before 2 p.m., on May 12, 2024.
It was reported that a man was found lying on a driveway in the area after being shot.
Roberts-Orr was taken to hospital where he later died.
Two suspects were taken into custody shortly after the killing. However, the search for Cote took several months.
Cote was placed on Canada’s Top 25 Most Wanted List about five weeks ago according to police, through a program known as “Be On The Lookout,” also referred to as “BOLO.”
Cote was arrested on Jan. 7.
