Regina pedestrian collision sends man to hospital [Video]

One man has been sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle in the early hours of Wednesday in Regina.

Officers were called to the 1600 block of 11th Avenue around 1:49 a.m. after receiving information that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, according to a news release from the Regina Police Service (RPS).

When officers arrived, they found an injured man. EMS attended to the man, who was then taken to hospital.

The driver remained on scene while investigation took place. Traffic collision investigators and the Forensic Identification Unit also assisted.

Police said the incident is still under investigation, and charges have not been determined yet.
