Traffic is being disrupted in northeast Calgary after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Thursday morning at 52 Street and 26 Avenue N.E.
The incident took place around 10:40 a.m.
Police confirmed in a release that one person was transported to Foothills Medical Centre in critical condition. The driver remained on scene.
52nd Street between 32 Avenue and 26 Avenue N.E. are closed in both directions.
