One man is dead following a motorcycle crash in Clarington, Ont.

Durham Regional Police said around 5:30 p.m. that the crash happened in the area of Trulls Road between Bloor Street and Avondale Drive in the Courtice neighbourhood of Clarington, just a few kilometres east of Oshawa.

Police say a single motorcycle was involved in the crash and an adult male was pronounced dead.

Police have closed Trulls Road between Bloor and Avondale and say a collision investigation is underway.
