Robbery spree across Mississauga and Brampton leads to charges for 3 Ontario teens [Video]

Multiple armed robberies at retail stores in Mississauga and Brampton have led to charges for a trio of teens from the Greater Toronto Area.

Between Feb. 13 and March 10, nine retail establishments were held up by armed suspects in Mississauga and Brampton, Peel Regional Police say.

Six of the armed robberies were in Brampton while three were in Mississauga, according to investigators.

In each of the hold-ups, police say suspects armed with guns made demands for cash from employees. The suspects were also using a stolen car as a getaway vehicle.

An investigation into the nearly month-long crime spree led police to three suspects in the area of Martin Grove Road and Finch Avenue West in Toronto.

Police say the stolen vehicle used in the robberies and two replica firearms were recovered during the investigation.

Three youths were arrested and charged with multiple offences.
