As Levi looks to work his way back to the NHL with the Sabres, his play with the Amerks in the regular season and postseason has him on the path to doing just that.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — When its the Amerks’ turn visit Laval in the North Division Finals, it will mark a homecoming for goaltender Devon Levi.
“I love playing there,” Levi said. “Got some family in town, some friends will be there. I’m excited.”
The Quebec native grew up around 40 minutes away from the home of the Amerks’ second round opponent, the Laval Rocket, and if Rochester hopes to get past the AHL’s top team from the regular season that finished with 101 points, Levi will have to continue his strong play.
