A 33-year-old man faces an aggravated assault charge after police say he stabbed another man at a home in Prince Albert on Sunday.

Officers were called to the 1800 block of 14th Street West just before 4 a.m. Sunday with a report that a man had been stabbed, the Prince Albert Police Service said in a news release.

When police and paramedics arrived, they identified the victim as he walked down the street and collapsed. Police confirmed his injuries were consistent with a stabbing.

Paramedics brought him to hospital for treatment of what police believe to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers later learned the man was stabbed at a residence one block away, on the 1900 block of 14th Street West, where they arrested a 33-year-old man and charged him with aggravated assault and breaching his conditional sentence …
