A new store in Regina known as Plato’s Closet set to open on Thursday (Jan. 16) will prioritize affordable and gently used clothing for teenagers and young adults in their 20s. Patrons will be able to buy as well as sell their gently used items for cash.

Located at 450 Albert Street N, local owners Chantal and Kylie Pasieka say the Regina location will be just the second of its kind in Saskatchewan.

“We look forward to providing a place for teens and young adults to shop at an affordable price, and a place for them to bring their gently used clothing in exchange for cash on the spot. We want to be a place of convenience and sustainability. Regina [and surrounding areas] does not have anything quite like it currently, so we really hope to fill that gap in the market,” co-owner Chantal Pasieka said in a news release.
