Two arrests have been made in the quadruple homicide that took place on Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation on Feb. 4.
Saskatchewan RCMP said 18-year-old Darrius Racette and a youth male are being charged in relation to the homicide. The age of the underage accused is not known.
Racette was arrested in Yorkton Sask., while the youth was taken into custody on Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation.
Both arrests took place on Feb. 18.
“Racette has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder,” Insp. Ashley St. Germaine, senior investigative officer of Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes, said on Wednesday.
“He made his first appearance in provincial court this afternoon. Charges against the youth are anticipated to be laid later today.”
