BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – The heaviest rain that fell during the night last night across areas north of Bangor will move to our east into New Brunswick early this morning. Weak low pressure to our west will gradually work its way into Maine today keeping showers and thunderstorms in the forecast through the day. The best shower chances will be this morning with widespread showers likely then showers and thunderstorms will become more scattered in nature this afternoon and evening. Rain in any showers and thunderstorms today could be heavy at times. With clouds and showers expected today… temperatures will be a bit cooler with highs staying in the 70s to near 80°. As low pressure continues to move through the state tonight… we’ll see the chance for a few scattered showers through the overnight hours. Overnight lows will drop to the 60s. Some patchy fog will be possible tonight …
