School buses cancelled in GTA and southern Ontario [Video]

School buses are cancelled in parts of the GTA and southern Ontario Thursday.

Overnight snow squalls across the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario brought slippery road conditions.

More snow and freezing drizzle is expected throughout the day.

Here are the bus cancellations for Feb. 6:

Halton Region

All Halton District School Board schools are open but all school buses are cancelled. Parents/guardians who keep their children at home when schools are open must report this absence before the school day starts.

Due to inclement weather, all student transportation is cancelled for the Halton Catholic District School Board. However, schools, adult education centres and school-based childcare centres are open.

Hamilton

The Hamilton Wentworth District School Board said that, due to inclement weather, buses are cancelled and all schools and administrative buildings are closed.

Buses are also cancelled for Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board but all schools, adult education centres and school-based childcare centres are open.

Niagara Region
