Second Omaha location of Dave’s Hot Chicken opens [Video]

Omaha’s second location of Dave’s Hot Chicken opened Friday at 2615 S. 180th St. near the intersection of West Center Road.

The franchise, which started in 2017 in West Hollywood, California, has more than 250 locations in the United States, Canada and the Middle East. The first Omaha store opened in January of 2023 at 335 N. Saddle Creek Road.

The menu features spicy fried chicken sandwiches and tenders in three heat levels: mild, medium and Reaper. It also serves fried cauliflower for those who don’t eat meat. Sides include mac and cheese, fries and slaw.

A variety of shakes, slushes and soft drinks also are available.

Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week. For more information, go to daveshotchicken.com
