Environment Canada meteorologists are closely tracking a line of severe thunderstorms moving through Southern Ontario, bringing dangerous conditions to several areas.

This storm system is capable of producing very strong wind gusts and has the potential for isolated tornadoes.
The thunderstorm line is currently moving eastward at 80 km/h and is impacting the following locations:
- Mississauga
- Toronto
- Brampton
- Hamilton
- Halton Region
- Niagara Region
- Kitchener
- Waterloo
- Cambridge
- Guelph
- Woodstock
- Brantford
- Norwich
- Fergus
- Erin
Timing
The storm system is expected to move eastward across southern Ontario at a speed of 80 km/h, with the severe weather expected to taper off late this evening.
