Shaggy-haired thief drops in through roof to steal cigarettes from Ontario business [Video]

Police are on the hunt for a shaggy-haired, bespectacled cigarette bandit who climbed to the rooftop of a business in Guelph and cut a hole in the ceiling before then using a rope to lower himself inside the building where he grabbed the goods.

In further describing the heavy-set culprit, Guelph Police said he was wearing a puffy mid-length winter jacket, a hoodie and pants that “possibly” had “Deadpool” (reference to the Marvel Comics character) written on one leg when he committed the crime in the early hours of Monday morning.

Shortly before 6 a.m., police responded to a break-in call at a business near Woodlawn Road West and Nicklin Road in the city’s north end.
