Shopping trip turns into huge lottery win for Mississauga man [Video]

Ivan Borosic was out and about and planning to spend money one day recently, but things sure changed in a hurry.

While out shopping, the Mississauga man came across a stroke of luck — major luck. The kind of luck that brought a top prize of $100,000 his way thanks to an Instant Bingo ticket.

“I was out shopping when I decided to pick up a few Instant tickets. While playing this particular ticket, I noticed I had revealed the doubler and thought I’d won $400,” Borosic recounted while at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s (OLG) Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his windfall. “After reviewing the ticket further, I realized I’d actually won $100,000. I took my ticket back to the store to have it validated. When the lottery terminal froze, I felt a rush of happiness, but it was still hard to believe.”
