Laval police (SPL) is investigating reports of gunfire at a home early Monday morning.

The force received a 911 call at 1 a.m. about the sound of gunshots on de Touraine Street near Saint-Martin Boulevard.

On the scene, police confirmed that shots had been fired at a home.

Shell casings were found on the ground, and a suspect vehicle was seen leaving the premises.

No arrests have been made, and there were no reported injuries.

Laval police has set up a security perimeter in the area to allow investigators to do their work.
