Shots were fired at a cemetery in Ontario [Video]

Gunshots rang out at a cemetery in Ajax on Thursday afternoon.

Durham Regional Police say officers were called to Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens on Church Street North shortly after 5:40 p.m. following reports of a shooting.

When they arrived, police say they found several shell casings at the scene.

Two white SUVs were reportedly seen speeding away from the area around the time the shots were heard.

Police say no injuries have been reported and that the investigation is ongoing.

Investigators have not indicated how many individuals may have been involved or released any suspect descriptions at this time.
