LANSING, Mich. — UPDATE

As showers near an end in our neighborhoods this afternoon and winds turning out of the northeast today, Canadian wildfire smoke will return to our neighborhoods.

Canadian wildfire smoke to range in the unhealthy for sensitive groups

An Air Quality Advisory has been issued by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy for all of our neighborhoods.

Elevated levels of particulate matter will range in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range.

Those with underlying conditions are urged to restrain from long period outdoor activities. Closing windows is encouraged to keep poor air conditions outside.
