LANSING, Mich. — UPDATE
As showers near an end in our neighborhoods this afternoon and winds turning out of the northeast today, Canadian wildfire smoke will return to our neighborhoods.
An Air Quality Advisory has been issued by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy for all of our neighborhoods.
Elevated levels of particulate matter will range in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range.
Those with underlying conditions are urged to restrain from long period outdoor activities. Closing windows is encouraged to keep poor air conditions outside.

Heavy rainfall continues this morning in our neighborhoods. We could see some areas of localized ponding this morning on roadways as well as reduced visibility. Make sure to stay weather aware when heading out the door and hitting the road.
