RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Pesky snow showers and flurries continue around the Black Hills today. Drier air will cause that snow to finally end by this afternoon. Windy, cold weather continues this morning, but fortunately those winds will decrease this afternoon.

Roads are very hazardous in the northern hills and in northeast Wyoming this morning. Be sure to check safetravelusa.com or call 5 1 1 for the latest weather information.

Another Alberta Clipper system brings clouds, winds and a few snow showers Friday. This system will not be as strong as the current system is.

Cold air filters in behind the system for Saturday, then a ridge of high pressure will build over KOTA Territory next week, resulting in much warmer temperatures!
