It looks like winter isn’t ready to leave just yet, bringing dark, gloomy skies along with bouts of heavy rain and snow to southern Ontario this week.

As of today (March 2), residents will wake up to a bitterly cold morning with wind chills plummeting to -25 C. A 40 to 60 per cent chance of flurries is expected to linger into the afternoon, accompanied by brisk winds reaching up to 40 km/h.

Daytime temperatures will struggle to climb, with highs only reaching -13 C before gradually warming to -6 C later in the day. By evening, skies will turn cloudy, and light winds of 15 km/h will move through the region. Overnight, temperatures will drop to -13 C, with wind chills making it feel closer to -19 C by midnight.
