Snow still in the forecast for parts of Ontario [Video]

Warnings are in place for parts of Ontario with a spring storm set to dump as much as 25 cm of snow.

Environment Canada issued the snowfall warnings for areas north of Lake Superior, with peak snowfall rates of 2 to 3 cm per hour in the forecast.

Areas under the warning are expected to see a total of 15 to 25 cm into Tuesday.

Precipitation is forecasted to start as rain for some locations before switching to snow.

Special weather statements or weather advisories have been issued for other parts of the province as well, where lesser snowfall totals are generally expected.

While northern Ontario is expected to see the bulk of the snowfall, snow is in the forecast for parts of southern Ontario as well.
