A number of flights both into and out of Toronto Pearson Airport in Mississauga were cancelled on Friday as Canada’s busiest airport continues to recover from the effects of Monday’s plane crash and two significant dumps of snow last week.

Roughly a couple dozen scheduled flights were impacted as the airport tries to get flight schedules fully back on track in the wake of the disruptions.

“Today, we had close to 1,000 flights scheduled to arrive and depart from the airport. As of 4:30 p.m., only two per cent of departing flights and four per cent of arriving flights have been cancelled,” Pearson officials said in a post to social media late Friday afternoon. “During this evening’s operations, there are 241 scheduled arrivals and 188 scheduled departures. Passengers are advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport.”
