The South Whitehall Twp. Police Department has announced that Police Chief, Frank J. Lombardo was sworn in during Thursday night’s Board of Commissioner’s Meeting.

Officials say Chief Lombardo brings nearly three decades of leadership experience from his career with the South Brunswick Township Police Department. He has a background in community services, operations, and administrative excellence, combined with advanced education from Rutgers University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, and George Washington University.

Sergeant Torres

Sergeant Torres also was promoted during Thursday’s meeting, according to the police department.

Sergeant Torres, is a seven-year veteran of the South Whitehall Township Police Department, and officials say he exemplifies what it means to serve with compassion and integrity. Beyond his professional roles, including bike patrol officer and training instructor, Sergeant Torres continually demonstrates his commitment to the community, the police department says.
