Strong winds prompted a special weather statement for part of southern Ontario.
Strong wind gusts, up to 80 km/h are possible in the Niagara Region on Monday, according to the statement from Environment and Climate Change Canada.
The winds are expected to develop Monday afternoon and weaken by the early evening.
The high winds may toss loose objects and cause tree branches to break.
Local power outages are possible.
Highs of 4 C and rain are expected and lows down to zero with snow possible in the evening on Monday in the Niagara Region.
