Speed cameras have been repeatedly vandalized in Vaughan, police say, with one person charged and investigations ongoing.
York Regional Police said that between Jan. 11 and April 24, police responded to nine incidents involving damaged speed cameras at three separate locations.
Police said officers have charged a suspect in relation to one incident.
Officers are still looking for witnesses for other ongoing investigations into the eight other instances.
Those include five incidents on Peter Rupert Avenue, two on Hilda Avenue, and one on New Westminster Drive.
Anyone with information was asked to come forward.
