A speeding driver has been found guilty dangerous driving causing death for killing a Toronto couple who were simply stopped in rush hour traffic when he slammed into them from behind at high speed.

Artur Kotula, 41, was driving fast enough down Parkside Drive on Oct. 12, 2021, that the impact sent Valdemar and Fatima Avila’s hatchback flying into the air before his BMW knocked over a hydro pole.
