SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – Western Mass News is getting answers on some holiday mischief in Springfield. One thing we love about the holidays is seeing the decorations and lights on people’s houses, but recently, one couple’s decorations were tampered with.

Someone or some people have definitely been a little naughty this year. Jean Sears and her husband have lived in their Ontario Street home in Springfield for decades and have always expressed their love of Christmas with decorations, including a reindeer on their front lawn. However, recently, other decorations were vandalized and they’re just trying to understand who did this and why. “We have Christmas lights all around the perimeter there,” Sears said. “It’s just a happy time.”

No matter what holiday you celebrate, even if it’s Christmas, decorations and lights are one of many things that get us in the holiday spirit and the Sears family is no different …
