Stabbing at a nightclub in Ontario sends multiple people to hospital [Video]

Several people were taken to a hospital following a stabbing early Saturday morning at a nightclub in downtown Hamilton.

Hamilton Police and paramedics responded to Mansion Nightclub, located at 54 King Street East, where multiple people were reportedly injured.

Police have not specified how many individuals were hurt, the extent of their injuries or whether they are considered minor or life-threatening. In addition, the victims’ ages, places of residence and whether they are male or female have not been released by investigators.

It is also unclear whether the stabbing involved one suspect or multiple individuals and police have not indicated whether the incident is believed to be targeted.

The circumstances leading up to the stabbing remains under investigation.
