Banners that show support for Canada in its ongoing feud with U.S. President Donald Trump can be downloaded from a Brampton wesbite.
The “Stand For Canada” banners can be used on Facebook, X and Linkedin and are part of a campaign by the City of Brampton to encourage support for local businesses and products made in Canada.
The website was created earlier this month in response to the tariffs on Canadian products that will be imposed by Trump. The website also seeks out those from coast-to-coast to sign on to “Team Canada” with the goal of protecting local jobs and businesses.
By visiting www.bramptonforcanada.ca, Brampton asks Canadians to register and sign a pledge indicating their desire to fight back against the sweeping tax that will drastically increase prices on Canadian-made goods sold in the U.S., putting them out of competitive reach from American buyers.
