Stars on Ice to rock Halifax in April [Video]

Stars on Ice will return to the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax on April 25, 2025. The theme of this year’s show, “Rock Stars on Ice” is a tribute to rock and roll that honours the tradition of musical accompaniment that energizes every figure skating performance.

Kurt Browning is a Canadian is a four-time figure skating world champion and Guinness world record holder. After promising 2023 was his last year performing with Stars on Ice, he’s taken on a new role.

“I’m the director, I’m the choreographer and I’m the boss,” Browning said. “I’m very, very involved with the show.”

Browning said that Rock Stars on Ice was a great sounding name that gives the show a tremendous variety of music to work with but he doesn’t know what it will look like yet.

“This week and the week after Christmas, I’ve set aside to build the show,” Browning said.
