The theft of bottles of vodka and scotch from an Ontario business have led to charges for three men from Brampton.

The theft happened on Tuesday when City of Belleville Police were called by staff from a business on Bell Boulevard, approximately 80 kilometres west of Kingston.

Police say two men entered the business and placed multiple bottles of alcohol into re-usable grocery bags before leaving without paying.

Store employees told the men to stop, but the suspects continued to walk out of the store with the stolen items.

The bottles included Glenfiddich Scotch, Johnnie Walker scotch and Grey Goose vodka.

Investigators located a suspect vehicle and say they found the stolen booze and additional stolen power tools from a nearby store, and police say three occupants of the vehicle, all from Brampton, were arrested.
