Stolen goods seized in Surrey after collaborative police investigation [Video]

Surrey police say officers have arrested two men and seized a substantial amount of stolen goods following an investigation into multiple offences by multiple police units.

The seized goods range from luxury cars and expensive electronics to drugs and stolen credit cards.

The investigation – led by the RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit in collaboration with the Metro Vancouver Transit Police and the West Vancouver Police Department – first began Dec. 3, following a series of alleged criminal offences involving a Dodge Ram truck.

The truck, bearing counterfeit licence plates, was found to be involved in numerous break-and-enters in West Vancouver, a failure to stop for police in Langley, and a theft of tires in Surrey, the Surrey Police Service said in a statement Friday.
