Stolen vehicles discovered at eastern Ontario ONRoute truck stop [Video]

The OPP discovered two stolen vehicles while conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 401 early Wednesday morning.

Quinte West officers checked on a tractor trailer at the ONRoute rest stop on the eastbound 401 near Trenton just after 2 a.m. Wednesday and found a car and a truck in a sea container inside the trailer. Both had been reported stolen in the GTA.

A 33-year-old man from Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, has been charged with two counts of trafficking in stolen property (over $5,000) obtained by crime and two counts of possession of stolen property.

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
