FRIDAY EVENING: A cold front from Canada brought strong wind gusts into our region throughout the morning hours, with gusts up to 60 mph at times. Wind gusts stayed above 40 mph well into the early afternoon hours. Thankfully, gusts will drop below 30 mph by early evening, leaving quieter conditions. Colder temperatures behind the front will lead to lows dropping into the single digits for most of the region with a few locations along the Canadian border dropping below zero by daybreak.
SATURDAY – SUNDAY:As we transition into the first weekend of March, temperatures will be seasonable and cool, with morning lows in the single digits to teens and highs in the mid to upper-20s on Saturday. Sunday will bring warmer highs reaching the middle 30s to upper 40s. Winds will be fairly light on Saturday and a bit breezy on Sunday but nothing out of the ordinary for our region, and both …
